Lucie Stern was a renowned Russian classical pianist, recognized for her exceptional talent from a young age. Born in 1913, she demonstrated remarkable musical ability, earning her a place as the youngest student at the prestigious Berlin Music Academy at just six years old. This early achievement marked the beginning of a promising career, as she went on to pursue further musical education and performances in Europe and the United States.

Stern's talent and dedication led to significant opportunities, including a scholarship to the esteemed Curtis Institute of Music. At the age of 13, she made her debut at the iconic Carnegie Hall and also recorded with Ampico, solidifying her position as a rising star in the classical music world. With a career trajectory that showed immense promise, Stern's life and musical pursuits were tragically cut short when she passed away in 1938, at the age of 24, bringing an early end to a journey that had been expected to yield great success.
