Robert J. Sherman is an American songwriter, born in 1968 in Los Angeles to a family of renowned songwriters and composers. His father, Robert B. Sherman, was a notable figure in the music industry, and Robert J. Sherman is the youngest of four siblings. Growing up in a household steeped in musical tradition, Sherman's own talent was nurtured from a young age, leading him to become one of the youngest songwriters to be invited to join the prestigious BMI at just 16 years old.
