David Rosen is a prominent English-Israeli rabbi, born in 1951, who has made significant contributions to the field of Judaism. His early career included serving as the Chief Rabbi of Ireland from 1979 to 1985, a position that laid the foundation for his future interfaith work. In 1985, he relocated to Israel, where he has continued to play a key role in promoting understanding and cooperation between different religious communities.

Rosen's expertise in interfaith relations has led to various leadership positions, including his role as the International Director of Interreligious Affairs for the American Jewish Committee (AJC). He has also headed the International Jewish Committee for Inter-religious Consultations (IJCIC) from 2005 to 2009, representing World Jewry in its interactions with other global religions. Currently, he serves as a Special Advisor to the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi, further solidifying his commitment to interfaith peacemaking and dialogue. Throughout his career, Rosen has been recognized for his efforts, including being honored as a Knight of St. Gregory (KSG) and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).
